The ParkPassport App, created by the National Park Trust, serves as a valuable tool for individuals seeking to enhance their park experiences in local, state, and national public lands and waters. Offering an extensive database and park finder tool, the app grants users access to over one thousand park sites throughout the country. It allows for convenient filtering of parks based on specific activities, cultural significance, or historical periods of interest. Moreover, users can collect park-specific badges in their virtual park passport to document their visits.

Since its launch in 2019, the ParkPassport App has emerged as a comprehensive collection of activities, information, and resources relating to local, state, and national public lands and waters. Notably, recent partnerships with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri State Parks, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have further solidified its status as a must-have resource for outdoor enthusiasts.

Key features of the ParkPassport App include:

 <li>The Park Finder feature enables users to conveniently discover nearby parks across America by utilizing their location. With the inclusion of over six hundred new park locations, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' 463 lakes and rivers, Missouri's 93 state parks, and NOAA's 17 National Marine Sanctuaries and Marine National Monuments, exploration opportunities are significantly expanded.</li>
 <li>The Digital Passport showcases badges for different parks and outdoor activities. This includes specially-designed badges for national parks, National Marine Sanctuaries and Monuments, and Missouri State Parks.</li>
 <li>Offline Functionality provides users with the ability to track their park visits and activities and access park information without requiring an internet connection or cellular service.</li>
 <li>Fishing Information encompasses seven distinct digital resource categories and introduces six new custom activity badges for various types of fishing.</li>
 <li>A multitude of Digital Resources and Experiences are available, ranging from virtual tours, Junior Ranger badges, live webcams, educational videos, to new resource categories such as hidden histories, recreating responsibly, and wildlife viewing.</li>
 <li>Search Functionality allows users to search for specific locations, various activities, and parks with historical and cultural significance.</li>
 <li>Accessibility Information caters to all users, offering guidance in preparing and planning for exceptional park experiences.</li>
 <li>Photo Sharing permits users to upload and share their most cherished park images.</li>
 <li>The app grants access to information regarding free park passes provided by the National Park Service.</li>
